Waterloo - Brantham Musical Theatre Routine Costume
Good Afternoon,
We are transporting you to sunny Greece in this Mamma Mia inspired routine. Where our dancers are setting this song in an all fancy inclusive hotel. Please see below characters and the costume/props they will require.
Bessie and Jasmyn - two young besties on their first girls holiday together, Bessie character is getting over a recent break up and Jasmyn character suggests they get away. They will need to be wearing Beach/swim wear that reflect their characters and age. Prop, one of them will need a bottle of sun cream.
Lucy - Recently divorce middle age woman who has come into a lot of money, she is not looking to socialise and just wants to sunbathe and read her books. Will need a medium size over the shoulder beach bag and ideally a luxury beach hat.
Isla - Islas character is on her honeymoon, as much as she loves her new partner, she a girls girl who loves to have a gossip. Ideally needs to be in white, could have wifey on her outfit, needs to be clear she is on her honeymoon.
Tillie and Minnie - Our little explores, they have come to Greece to observe the wildlife, it just so happens the best fish are in this cove where this fancy hotel is. They don’t fit in to the luxury side and use to roughing it when travelling. Wet suits, scuba mask and flippers would be needed. Fake seaweed.
Lily - Lilys character has decided to take a holiday, she has the money so why not? She’s not too fussed about the much other than the fact it’s all inclusive on the cocktails and the sun is shinning. She wants to have a good time and go back with a killer suntan. Prop, will need a plastic martini glass ideally with a fake olive in too look like she’s having a dry martini.
Ava and Anais - is on holiday with their parents, they are sisters but chalk and cheese. They are rather cheeky and always causing mischief. They don’t need to dress the same but ideally it needs to be obvious to the audience they are sisters and dressed by the same parents.
CAN ALL STUDENTS PLEASE BRING A BEACH TOWEL TO PRACTICE WITH.
